Special Incentives Offered for Meeting Planners and Golf Tour Operators!
The St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches Visitors and Convention Bureau is offering meeting planners and golf tour operators an opportunity to earn tickets to the 2011 edition of THE PLAYERS Championship as an incentive to bring new group and meeting business to this part of Northeast Florida. THE PLAYERS, which occurs each May in Ponte Vedra Beach, is one of the most exciting events in golf and offers the game’s largest purse to the winners.
Incentive opportunities include:
Book 1,500 room nights or more and earn; 2 grounds tickets for one day at the 2011 THE PLAYERS and 2 tickets for THE PLAYERS Hospitality House, 2 nights accommodations, 1 round of golf for two and round-trip airfare for 2.
Book 1,000 room nights and earn 2 grounds tickets for two days at the 2011 THE PLAYERS, a 2-night hotel stay and a round of golf for 2 at one of the area’s championship golf courses
Book 500 room nights and earn 2 grounds tickets for two days at the 2011 Players Championship Tournament.
To be eligible to receive the incentive packages, planners and operators must meet the following criteria;

All contracted bookings for the year apply cumulatively toward room nights booked. Bookings must be contracted and on file with the St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches Visitors & Convention Bureau by March 30, 2011.
